Five Axis began as a labor of love sometime around 1994. Starting literally in founder Marc Wierenga's brother's garage in the Pacific Northwest, we pressed our first full cap construction snowboard as nothing more than an experiment to see if we could make our own boards and ride them. It worked. The rest is history.

Now occupying a 9500 square foot manufacturing facility in Huntington Beach, we have consistently been producing high-quality, custom-designed, snowboards for more than a decade, many of which have garnered Top-10 placements in Transworld Snowboarding Magazine's Good Wood board reviews and Future Magazine's Board Review.

Five Axis is a full-service manufacturing company with an in-house research and development department to help you design and produce your own custom models and shapes, including custom core designs and flex patterns. Five Axis boards are built by hand in our factory in southern California enabling development timelines to be executed without overseas lag.
